My Story

Hello,

My name is Marcel Stevahn

I love nature so much, even as a small child I remember playing with bugs, leaves and making stories using blooms and dirt. So many times I would have adventures with my twin brother and family in the hazelnut orchards surrounding our home, I consider us lucky to have the creativity and freedoms we had growing up. Thank you mom and dad.

Luck seemed to shine upon us since the beginning being 3 months premature and born at roughly 2 pounds. The one thing that marked me from those harrowing months in incubation was my sight being impaired from ROP, Retinopathy of Prematurity causing abnormal blood vessels to grow in the retina in one eye, (hence the name One Good Eye).

Even with blurred vision nothing could stifle my love for how things looked, felt or made me feel. As I grew up I co-owned a landscaping company, worked for local retail shops and now care for trees and shrubs on a much larger scale. My very green thumbs and love for teaching others will always be strong, sharing is caring and I care a lot about nature and cultivating relationships.

Photography has been a driving force all my life and capturing unique perspectives is an awesome hobby. As well as wearing fun clothing, fabricating interesting things or creating something out of ideas I have, it makes me stand out and be seen and that’s fun to me. Imperfection is perfection in my eyes! No matter what, we all can create beautiful things and grow together. These are my creations and I hope you enjoy them as much I did creating them.
